Members categories
To become a member of the club, you must submit a membership application. This can be done at any time.
The HTC recognizes the following membership classes:
1. Full members
are radio amateurs and SWLs with a Swiss call.
Full members have the right to vote for officers and on issues brought before the club.
2. Foreign members
are individuals outside of Switzerland who share the ideals of the HTC and who support the club in some material or financial way. Foreign members do not have the right to vote.
3.Honary members
are those individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to the HTC or to promote CW as an operating mode within amateur radio. Honorary members do not normally have the right to vote, although full members who are elevated to the status of honorary members retain their right to vote.
Each member receives a membership number. Once a number has been assigned, it remains with that individual and cannot be reassigned.
Annual dues are:
1 Full members: CHF 30.00
2. Foreign members, callsigns outside Switzerland: no fee (Donations gratefully accepted)
3. Honorary members, members of the Board of Directors and Auditors are exempt from paying dues.
The amount of the dues is voted upon each year at the Annual General Meeting. We are pleased that we have been able to keep the dues flat for many years!
