App 'CW lernen'
With the "CW lernen" app, you can learn Morse telegraphy, as used in amateur radio, from scratch on your own smartphone (from Android 8). From version 7, exercises using the virtual keyboard are also possible. The operation is largely self-explanatory. You can't really do anything wrong. The new version also has a collection of words and abbreviations with only 3 letters. To switch to the next screen, you have to tap the right arrow at the bottom of the screen. (There is no longer a pager like in the previous version.) The pitch, volume and tempo can now be adjusted with sliders.
To install, start the setup app CW lernen 8.0-release.apk after downloading.
(from January 31, 2025). You may have to answer a security question (e.g., "Install anyway").
A previous version should be uninstalled before installation.
Important: Always close the app completely.
